Such dedication!

Clearly my dedication to this blog is evidence as it's only my 2nd post in 2 months, but alas I have been busy and I'm going to try harder to dedicate time to documenting my progress!

Here are my current WIPs, for your viewing pleasure.  There's 3 of them at the moment with a 4th hopefully to be added by the end of the day if the fabric arrives.  Here's the current ones:

Cirque des couers by Ink Circles:

Started a few weeks ago, not far off being done with the first page.

Punch of Colour Girls 4 by HAED (Hannah Lynn)
Started forever ago, last August I believe, top row done and am onto the second

Biancabella by Mirabilia
Started in February, nearly done all the x's on the first page.

I've had them all on weekly rotation lately, working on each one for a solid week and then swapping around, but am about to throw another project into the mix that's for a birthday in June (a huge project won't be done but she knows it's not likely to be finished by then).  Therefore I'm going to have to put a couple of these to the side, I'd like to still work on the HAED though because it's also going to be a gift though I have no time restrictions on it because it's too much work to put that kind of pressure on, it'll be for the next birthday or Christmas when it's done.

Hello all!

This is my new blog for tracking cross stitch progress and sharing my work with all those addicted to cross stitch.

I've been stitching since April 2013 but it has become a permanent fixture in my life, the need to stitch each day has become essential.

Below are some of my completed works of 2013:

From top left to right they are:

1. Disney Princesses by Wee Little Stitches
2. Lumpy Space Princess from Sprite Stitch forum
3. Batman's Enemies by Cloudsfactory
4. Pretty Little Sydney by Satsuma Street

There were a couple of other things that were given away as gifts, so it was definitely a great year stitching wise.  :)

I also have two WIPs right now, with progress shown below:

Punch of Colour Girls 4 by Hannah Lynn on HAED
(Fabric by Colour Cascade Fabrics)

Been working on this one since around September, but took a break to work on another so progress lately been slow.  Only really picked it up in the last week and a half and really loving stitching it, 1 over 1 on 25 count so it's tests my eyes a little, especially when stitching colours similar to the fabric (which is more silver than the photo lets on).

This is what it will look like (hopefully) when finished:

This is my other WIP, or more like UFO because it's been shelved in favour of the above  WIP:
This is not the most updated it is, I've completed the pirate flag and another of the sails but the photo I just took ended up being quite fuzzy and now the effort of taking another seems all too much.

It's from the June 2013 issue of The World of Cross Stitching, designed by Lucie Heaton.

That's all for now and hopefully I can keep this blog updated with my cross stitch progress :)
